Allen Road House Project

The house was originally built in 1880. When the home was purchased for the remodel, it had only 1 bathroom and 3 bedrooms. The completed home has 3 full bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. During this remodel project, Can Do Construction hauled away everything from the existing home, except for the outside brick walls. Unfortunatly, the bricks were the only salvagable items in the home. The home sits on just over 2 acres of land.

The roof was taken off the west side of the home and a 2nd story was added. The master bedroom takes up all of the new second story of the home. The master bathroom included in the master bedroom has a whirlpool jetted tub and a separate shower stall. The master bedroom also has a huge walk in closet and 10 foot cielings.

The molding was hand made out of rough sawn lumber and all the cabinets were custom made for the home. All interior doors are 6-panel oak hardwood doors and the exterior doors are 15-panel glass doors to let in the natural sunlight. The floors are hand scraped hardwood and Jeruselum Stone. The bedrooms have upgraded carpet.

Each upstairs bedroom has a large closet and a private entryway into the adjoining full bathroom.
